eCommerce

Sometimes it’s not enough to showcase your products or services on your website, blog and other online properties and direct visitors to another vendor (like Amazon) to buy. You may want to sell directly and handle fulfillment yourself. While this can often produce higher profits, sorting through the options for processing payments online can be a real chore.

There are a number of factors to consider when preparing to sell online. Here are a few to start with:

  • How many products do you want to sell? A few products can usually be handled by all-in-one solutions like PayPal “Buy Now” buttons. Lots of products may require a stand alone shopping cart.
  • Are these physical products that requiring packaging and shipping, or digital products that can be downloaded? Digital products are usually quite inexpensive to deliver, while physical products have shipping and handling costs.
  • Do you expect to make enough sales to justify the costs of having your own payment gateway and merchant account? If you’re not sure, then PayPal or other one-stop payment solutions may be your best choice.

Not sure where to begin? We’d be happy to help you sort through the options and determine what’s best for your business – now, and as it grows. Contact us and we’ll sechedule a call to explore your needs.
